AU BONHEUR DES OGRES

In the Malaussène family, there are lots of kids, lots of love and lots of stories (not to mention a protective older brother). Benjamin is often the scapegoat in professional situations within a luxury Parisian department store where he works, the Bonheur Parisian. He finds himself thrown into a strange murder mystery. Meanwhile, at the Bonheur Parisian, the employees are losing it. Suspected of being the author of the crimes, Benjamin meets Tante Julia, a mischievous journalist with a sharp eye. Together, they’ll get to the bottom of the story, in the midst of merry chaos. As the plot unfolds, one comes across magic, absurdity and off-the-wall humor.

LES ENFANTS DE TIMPELBACH

When a state of emergency is declared in the town of Timpelbach, the children take charge. Whereas their parents, who had abandoned them in an attempt to discipline them, get lost in the countryside, the children form two clans. The game of survival begins, and it’s time to settle accounts. Thinking themselves cut off from the rest of the world, the kids throw themselves into a war, and adult lives are placed in the hands of children. The atmosphere of Timpelbach, with its retro décor and gadgets, immerses the viewer in an extraordinary world of fantasy. The cast features Adèle Exarchopoulos, seen here at the beginning of her film career.
